Master TreeGrower Program: Zimbabwe 2018
During September Chitungwiza was the host district for Africa’s 11th Master TreeGrower Program and the 4th trip sponsored by CIA tax. Education creates lasting change and it is why we at CIA continue to support Beyond Subsistence’s life changing training for the 50 enthusiastic participants. As they return back to their farms armed with improved farming practices that will lead to longer lasting changes as their knowledge begins to spread from their farm to their neighbours farm and to their neighbours and beyond; that’s Beyond Subsistence. Sandringham Football Club
CIA tax proudly support the Sandringham VFL Football Club (the Zebra’s). The Sandringham Football Club has a long, proud and successful history in the VFA/VFL competition. Sandringham were admitted to the VFA (Victorian Football Association) in 1929, 2 years after lodging an application to join the competition. The yellow, black and blue colours of the Sandringham jumper were made up of colours taken from the three local sides that combined to make up the club. The yellow came from the Sandringham Amateurs, Black from Black Rock & Blue from Hampton Amateurs.

Beyond Subsistence

Master TreeGrower Program: Ethiopia 2015
In November of 2015, a small farming community in the central highlands of Ethiopia was the location for its nation’s first ever Master TreeGrower (MTG) program. Hosted by SIM Ethiopia and facilitated by Beyond Subsistence, the five-day program trained forty of the region’s leading farmers and government personnel with life-changing agroforestry skills.
